I want to give a big thank you to everyone who has visited WarpHammer so far. I’ve been blown away by how many people have shown interest, and all of the encouraging messages you have been sending. WarpHammer is a passion project, and I told myself that I’d write articles about competitive Daemons even if no one read them–but it certainly feels great that so many people have been reading them!
I’m excited to announce a few upcoming changes to WarpHammer:
- We’re going to upgrade the website design and menus (I’m a statistician and writer, but website design has been a learning process and new to me)
- We’re getting a logo designed
- Most excitingly… We’re having a new content creator join WarpHammer!
Aidan Barkley is going to be bringing his series of competitive quick tips for Chaos players, The Quick Cut, to WarpHammer. Aidan is a great player (He recently finished top 4 at the YHP GT, one of the best finishes by a Chaos player so far in 9th Edition) who loves all things Chaos. We’ve had a lot of one-on-one discussions about tactics and list-building with Daemons, and I’m confident you’ll learn a lot from anything he produces.
That’s all, folks. I’m taking a break for a week or two because I’m visiting family and then going on a work trip, but I’ll get back to writing soon. I’m excited to keep growing Warphammer, and make it the best resource for Daemons and Chaos players I can. As always feel free to shoot me a message or a comment–meeting friendly people and chatting with other Daemons fans makes my day. Stay safe!
For a second there I was worried you re basically saying “goodbye” ;o
That would have been a terrible loss, there isn’t enough demon content available in the web, that’s for sure. Chaos Demon FB group only has about 4-5 K members while others are closer to 10-15K even
Looking forward to more content & new creator
I’m glad to see the Chaos raise and expand.

Great job, love the content so far! It’s so hard to find good competitive discussion about Daemons, will definitely be a regular here!
Thank you for the kind words! And you’re exactly right about the lack of Daemons resources, despite being one of the coolest (and strongest!) factions there are a surprising lack of people playing pure Daemons seriously. My idea behind WarpHammer was “What was the resource I wish had existed when I started playing Daemons competitively” and trying to create that for other people.
Look forward to seeing you and everyone else around!
Really like the blog. Glad I found it.
Just found the blog myself. A super-fluffy Slaanesh Daemons players looking for ways to help my army live up to the fluff as a horrifying extra-dimensional hellspawn threat rather than expy Tyranids. So far, so good.
Thanks for the content, and I’ll keep reading! Hope to see you (and others) at events once this COVID thing is down to talk narrative, models, and shop (since this blog has the tactics covered!).
